SCHOOL STRUCTURE

Deriving the multi-age grouping concept from Montessori education, class age groups are optimised for maximum peer-to-peer teaching & learning, with collaborative learning encouraged throughout the School.

Small Class Sizes To Raise The Bar

Small class sizes (maximum 15 pupils per class) will allow for optimal pupil-teacher engagement with an emphasis placed on enhancing their learning by raising pupils’ confidence across the board.

SPECIALLY TAILORED TO EACH STAGE OF THE CHILD'S DEVELOPMENT

The School is a 6-year programme for those entering into our youngest class (Junior School), with multidimensional resources and curriculum to re-explore Islamic concepts throughout key stages of development. Older pupils studying the 2-year or 4-year programme will not be disadvantaged as the syllabus is carefully structured to allow maximum tailored content to benefit each pupil, no matter when they join the School.

ARABIC THROUGH THE QUR’AN

A dedicated lesson with a specialist teacher to begin the pupil's journey of mastering Qur’anic Arabic. Taking a more interactive approach than traditional Arabic Grammar learning methods, pupils will enjoy an immersive experience with age-appropriate Tafseer to consolidate their knowledge of keywords and phrases to eventually be able to understand the meaning of the Qur’an from a linguistic perspective.

MEMORISATION WITH TAJWEED

Select verses from the Qur’an and du’as will be memorised by focusing on the intricate details of recitation and the application of the theory pertaining to it and then completing the process of memorisation

Islamic Sciences

A comprehensive curriculum beginning with the fundamental five pillars of Islam and broad essential Islamic subjects derived from the Qur'an and Sunnah. Topics are introduced and revisited throughout multiple years to add layers of complexity, different perspectives, details and additional emphasis, being delivered based on age and learning levels of each cohort. Subjects include Islamic History, Seerah, Tafseer, Stories of the Prophets, Fiqh amongst others.

Extracurricular Enrichment

As part of our ethos of turning 'informative learning into transformative learning', emphasis is placed on moulding and nurturing our youth into well-rounded individuals in various fields - not just in studies. As such, specialist enrichment opportunities will be arranged throughout the School Year to allow pupils to explore their interests - whether that is in art, horse-back riding, archery, talent shows, cookery, calligraphy amongst others. This will offer the unique opportunity for pupils who would otherwise not have the chance to explore such activities and perhaps spark a lifelong interest in non-traditional passions.

Community Outreach

The pupils are encouraged to be not only active members in the community but consistent members too, through regular projects such as weekly visits to an elderly care home, food parcels for the vulnerable and many homework activities centralised on involving their neighbours - we strongly believe that community outreach equips our children more than books ever will!

Incentivised Learning & Prize Giving

We understand that keeping pupils motivated and engaged throughout the year can sometimes prove a difficult task! We have therefore developed a unique reward scheme which incentivises learning and offers pupils the chance to earn coveted rewards. Crucially, rewards will not be given based upon just academic achievement but rather, for a range of actions, behaviour and dedication to allow each individual to gain confidence and flourish in their abilities.
