Our focus is on delivering a character development based curriculum, tailored for young Muslims living in Britain – our programmes therefore encapsulate British values, such as mutual respect and tolerance of those with different faiths and beliefs, at its core.
Al Miftah prides itself on upholding the fundamental British values of democracy, the rule of law, individual liberty, mutual respect and tolerance of those with different faiths and beliefs in all our endeavours. Aside from the Islamic programmes, community cohesion in a multi-faith society is actively encouraged through regular care home visits and other community-led initiatives to maintain positive links with the local and wider community.
